• Proficient in Figma, you can translate complex requirements into intuitive designs that resonate with a diverse audience.
• A commitment of approximately 10-15 hours per week to volunteer on this groundbreaking project doesn’t just fit into your schedule; it excites you.

Your Role:

As a Volunteer UI Designer, you will:

• Work closely with our development and design teams to create compelling, intuitive, and accessible UI designs for our mobile app.
• Utilize Figma to develop and iterate on design prototypes, ensuring the highest quality of user experience.
• Participate in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to refine and enhance the app’s visual appeal and usability.
• Contribute to a project that stands at the intersection of technology and social good, with your designs directly impacting our mission to support and protect vulnerable communities.

Leveraging the fastest, most reliable emergency notification system connected directly with Los Angeles 911 dispatch centers, we aim to significantly reduce disaster-related fatalities through timely alerts and resilient communication networks. Our commitment extends beyond alerts; we actively deploy in disaster-stricken areas to ensure no one remains disconnected, supporting first responders and the community when it matters most.
