Are you a skilled networker with a passion for building partnerships and making a positive impact on the world? We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing and reducing the occurrence and impact of wildfires and other disasters on our communities and natural resources. We are seeking a talented and motivated volunteer partnership and community outreach coordinator to join our team and help us achieve our mission.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with organizations and individuals that support our efforts in wildfire prevention and recovery. Some examples of tasks you may be asked to work on include:
- Identifying potential partners and building relationships with them through outreach and engagement activities.
- Collaborating with our team to develop and implement partnership strategies and plans.
- Coordinating activities and communication with partners to ensure successful collaboration and achievement of shared goals.
We are looking for someone with strong communication and relationship-building skills, as well as a passion for using their skills to make a difference in the world. The ideal candidate will have experience in outreach and engagement, and be comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders including government agencies, community groups, and other nonprofit organizations.
This is a volunteer position, with a flexible schedule and the ability to work remotely. While we cannot offer financial compensation, we can provide valuable experience and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on an important cause.
